Chris Yochim is the owner of Easy Rider Stable and a leader in the Greater Philadelphia Life Science Community, promoting industry and academic collaborations to drive innovative science toward commercialization for the benefit of patients. He is the currently a founding member and Chairman of the Board of the Delaware Bioscience Association and a strategic advisor to HOYA Corporation.

He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of AUTM and served as Vice President for Eastern US Region (2006-2007). As an active volunteer in AUTM, Chris founded and led the AUTM Sponsorship Committee for 10 years. In 2014, Chris was honored as the first life science industry recipient of the AUTM Presidents Award. Locally, Chris has served for eight years on the Board of PA BIO and The Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia.

Previously, at AstraZeneca, Chris had global responsibility for External Relations to drive awareness of AstraZeneca’s areas of partnering interest. He succeeded in establishing AstraZeneca as a Preferred Partner within the biotechnology sector, venture capital and academic community.
