Stephen Susalka, Ph.D., CLP, is a seasoned technology commercialization professional with experience in licensing, internal development and company formation. He is an acknowledged local, statewide and national leader in technology commercialization. He is currently the Executive Director of Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), a ~3,300 member non‐profit association focused on supporting and enhancing technology transfer globally. Stephen is a registered U.S. Patent Agent with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia. Previously, Stephen was the Associate Director for Commercialization, Product Innovation & Commercialization Services (formerly Office of Technology Asset Management) at Wake Forest Innovations in Winston‐Salem, North Carolina.
