AUTM’s mission to advance discoveries for a better world is an ambitious endeavor requiring a multifaceted approach to develop programs and encourage innovation, engagement and collaboration.
The Global Technology Portal (GTP) is one example of such an innovation. The GTP digital catalogue showcases more than 22,000 technology descriptions so that companies and investors can locate the newest technologies available for licensing worldwide, as well as identify research institutions for potential collaboration or partnerships. As one of the largest searchable databases of university technologies available for licensing, the GTP has become a valuable tool to accelerate the commercialization process by connecting buyers and sellers of innovative, emerging technologies.
The most successful innovations of our time have been achieved because of early funding and collaborative engagement that brought research findings from a lab into everyday practice. Supporting innovation is an investment that comes with a personal reward in joining others who are making meaningful, real-life changes.
