Executive Director

Kelly Markey, CFRE, is a seasoned development and strategic specialist with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of nonprofit management including program development, operational efficiencies and fundraising success. During her career, she’s worked with institutional organizations as well as community-based organizations, including University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Empowering Women in Technology Success, Inc. (Ewits®), Soteria Diagnostics, Florida Diabetes Camp for Children, PACE Center for Girls, Inc. and the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation.

Her expertise includes campaign management, international fundraising, program development and management, and donor moves management. Her specialty is strategically aligning initiatives to realistic outcomes and raising resources to achieve the mission of the program.

As Executive Director, Kelly is on the front lines of both the Foundation’s fundraising and management. She builds the Foundation’s activities so they are in-line with mission-based initiatives and will have a tangible impact on the population the AUTM Foundation serves. She is responsible for keeping all operational aspects of the Foundation running smoothly as well as enhancing its capacity for large-scale programs.

She received her Bachelors of Science in Communications from the University of Miami in Coral Gables Florida and is Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
